Saturday Survey: Response to "What is your favorite Worship Song?"

So here's my response to Saturday survey: "What is your favorite worship song?"

My favorite worship song is "How He Loves".  Now it was hard for me to narrow it down to just one song.  But the more I listened to my list of top faves I knew this was my favorite worship song.  I remember hearing this song for the first time and just crying as I listened to the words. My God was jealous for me.  Exodus 34:14  New Living Translation "You must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you."   God cares about every detail of our lives. Even the details that don't seem important to our family and friends. He cares about our desires and our passions. Our jobs and love lives.

I think I shed tears almost every time I hear this song played. Either at church or on the radio. David Crowder Band does my favorite version of How He Loves.  Just thinking about God's love and how overwhelming it is.  He accepts us just the way we are. He knows us better than anyone ever will. He knows the number of hairs on our head.  Luke 12:7  New Living Translation  "And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows."

"If his grace is an ocean, then we're all sinking!"  When he forgives us, our slate is washed white as snow. He keeps no records of our wrong doing.  No sin is unforgivable.  I love losing myself in worship during this song. Raising my hands and praising God for saving me. Even on the days, and especially on the days where I don't feel very Godly. I know How He Loves me. How He loves You.

Saturday Survey: What is your favorite worship song?

 
So tell me, what is your favorite worship song(s)?  Do you have a favorite worship band/ artist?  Something you sing at church, or maybe your favorite uplifting song on the radio.  I want to hear your favorites.  I'll respond Saturday ( Jan 26th ) with my answers to this survey.  Since I'm a lover of music this will be hard for me to narrow down my favorites. Happy New Year & Happy Friday!

Happy New Year!!! 
And Happy Friday everybody!

 Its a new year. Time to make changes.  Time to clean out your closet. (That was me today.) Donating old clothes to make room for the new fashions that will come in 2013.  A time for fresh starts.

I want to say that I'm sorry for not posting anything in a few months. My goal for this new year is to post something at least once a week. And to go from there. Lets say Life happened. As it does to everyone.  We all have scene changes. New chapters are written. Friends come and go like the seasons. Good and bad. Welcome, or unwelcome.  Things in life happen.

To those of you who don't know, my family went through the loss of my sweet Aunt Shelly early December.  She was battling cancer and with it beaten, has gone to be with Jesus. Where there's no more pain and she isn't suffering anymore.  She has her J-Lo body that she always wanted and she's singing Him sweet praises. Its been hard on my entire family. We have all been filled with questions of why her? She was a wife and mother to four beautiful children. She was young. While we missed her a great deal during the holidays we know she is in a better place.  Please continue to pray for my Uncle and their four kids as well as the rest of my family.

 I also want to say I'm super excited for this new year.  Have lots of great posts I'm working on for you guys, yay! With that said, Happy Friday everybody and have a great weekend! And check me out next week for a new post.

 Huge thank you to my family, friends, coworkers, and  supporters.   I appreciate your prayers, love, and everything else you all have done for me.  I pray for you all as this new year starts. And may it be your best year yet.
